Laravel Technical Project Coordinator

A hybrid role bridging clients, developers, and Laravel-based operations.

Hybrid (Lakewood, CO) or US Remote
$80,000–$110,000

About Us

We help businesses maximize the impact of their direct mail campaigns through data-driven analytics, reporting, and personalized microsites (PURLs). Our Laravel-based platform combines clean data workflows, custom landing pages, and actionable client dashboards. We're a small, collaborative team that builds real relationships with clients and ships work that matters.

About the Role

We're looking for a Junior–Mid Laravel Developer + Technical Project Coordinator who can understand our platform, communicate with clients, and translate requests into clean, actionable tickets.

This is not a pure PM role and it's not a full developer role.

It's perfect for someone who enjoys:

  • Light Laravel development
  • Client communication
  • Data QC and workflow organization
  • Creating clarity and structure for a small dev team

You'll quickly become the person who keeps our daily operations aligned and moving.

What You'll Do

Client Request Intake & Coordination (40%)

  • Monitor inbound requests and ask clarifying questions
  • Write clean, complete ClickUp tickets (requirements + acceptance criteria)
  • Ensure developers have what they need and follow up as tasks move
  • Close the loop with clients professionally and promptly
  • Track ongoing client work and recurring deliverables

Light Development & Data QC (40%)

  • Make small updates to Laravel, Inertia, Vue, or React code
  • Update or migrate microsites and small app components
  • Modify email templates, dashboards, and recurring workflows
  • Write MySQL queries (JOINs, GROUP BY, COUNT) to QC data and spot issues
  • Help maintain internal admin tooling

Your coding and data work will unblock the team and reduce senior dev bottlenecks.

Documentation & Process Ownership (20%)

  • Create and maintain client-specific documentation
  • Write SOPs for recurring data workflows
  • Maintain onboarding checklists
  • Keep ClickUp organized (statuses, naming, grouping)

You're a Great Fit If You Have

Technical Skills

  • Basic–mid Laravel experience (can read and modify existing code)
  • Familiar with Inertia + Vue or React
  • Able to follow established patterns and submit clean PRs
  • Understand APIs, jobs/queues, email services (Mailgun/Postmark)
  • Solid MySQL skills—comfortable with JOINs, GROUP BY, aggregations for data QC

Project Coordination Skills

  • Highly organized and reliable
  • Strong communicator and writer
  • Proactive—you ask questions, verify details, and push work forward
  • Comfortable working with clients in a friendly, professional manner
  • Able to keep developers unblocked and tasks properly defined

Bonus

  • Experience with SaaS, direct mail, or marketing tech
  • Experience in a small team or multi-client environment
  • Comfort working in ClickUp

Why This Role Exists

We're growing, and our founder and senior devs are too involved in day-to-day operations. We need someone who can:

  • Handle client requests and turn chaos into clean tickets
  • Own documentation (which is currently lacking)
  • Perform small technical updates and data QC
  • Keep engineering focused on the hard problems
  • Create structure and consistency across projects

You will become the connective tissue between clients, engineering, and operations.

What We Offer

  • $80,000–$110,000 depending on experience
  • Hybrid preferred (Lakewood, CO – Belmar) or US remote (TX, CO, FL preferred)
  • Contract-to-hire option available; part-time trial okay
  • Medical/Dental, 401K match, PTO
  • Growth path to Technical Project Manager or Mid-Level Developer
  • Direct influence on processes, quality, and client experience

We value curiosity, initiative, and problem-solving over perfection. Everyone's background is different, and your candidacy is welcomed even if you don't check every box.
